4 e-Portfolio phases

1. Collection. Gather evidence and record artifacts that document your skills. This is the first step that allows you to scan your contents, clean them up and identify missing elements. Dispearsed evodence will be put together in a one, easily accessible place. You can create folders, catalogues with meaningful labels to guide you through the repository.

2. Selection. Chose artifacts and evidence that represent your skills well. When you define your e-portfolio goal (see below) browse through the repository of artifacts and select these matching perfectly to your declared competence.

3. Assessment. Ask your colleague, tutor, somebody you can trust etc to evaluate/ assess your e-portfolio and give you feedback. Constructive comments will help you enhance your work. Rethink the clues. You don't have to agree with them but refer and consider them.

4. Reflection. Consider your experiences and what you 've learnt already. It is the most difficult but important part of e-portfolio.

5. Presentation. Personalise your e-portfolio and present it. Make it unique in terms of layout, colours, show your interests and passions. The way you present it proves also your communication and presentational skills.
