Read two short articles about the possible consequences of online photos publishing:

1. How loose photos can sink your online reputation
2. Is it safe to Post Photos Online?
   

Reflect: do you publish your photos online? how frequently? what is the context of these images?
Search then for the photos that depicts you or is closely related to you: limit the search criteria from Activity 1.1 to the images only. Write down your name and surname in quotation mark in a browser window. Analyse the results:

• What have you learnt about yourself?
  
• How many photos have captured you?
  
• Are you satisfied with the results?
• What is the context your person is depicted on?
  
• Have you found any pictures of you which have been placed on the Internet by somebody else? Do you know why?
  

Is your online image protected sufficiently? Check out the security settings in the services you frequently use.

Write down your thoughts and report your search results in a text editor. You will use it in Activity 1.5.
