Mahara is a dedicated e-portfolio system. It has a pre-defined structure and lets you build your own e-portfolio from ready elements. As such it is a great tool for e-portfolio beginners. Once you start you can experiment with other systems to design your own sturucture and layout.

To start with Mahara:

1. Set up your account in Mahara, register on https://mapped.cel.agh.edu.pl/mahara/register.php. Fill in the rubrics with your name, surname and e-mail address. Check-up your e-mail box where activation link is sent to you. Follow the link to activate your account, complete the registration procedure and create a new password. Remember that once you select user name it cannot be changed.
2. Log in to Mahar https://mapped.cel.agh.edu.pl/mahara/
   
3. Open Account setting tab and make decisions about the settings
4. Fill in your profile with basic information
   
5. Add a photo to create avatar
