Take your time to think about the goal of your e-portfolio. Decide what and to whom you would like to present your e-portfolio. You may find useful answering the following questions:

  • What is the most important information about you that you would like to share with others?
  • What image of yourself would youlike to create online?
Try to brainstorm and list different goals according to your e-portfolio. Note that this not an easy task and you might suppose that you will have to consider couple of possibilities before you choose the right path to follow.

Try to go beyond e-portfolio understood as collection of your artifacts (working e-portfolio). Think about rather wider perspective: what are you planning to do in a next few weeks/months? Are your activities coherent? Are you able to link the results that you achived so far with current activities?

Publish a goal of your e-portfolio on the forum E-portfolio goals.

Remember that you can modify the goal - e-portfolio is a process, not a product. Changes you are doing constantly show that you are practitioner who reflects on your work, and in consequences, who constantly learns new things.

Goal example: I would like to create e-portfolio which will show myself as experienced car driver.
