Any assessment is directly linked to the goals - educational, professional or personal - that we set for ourselves.

Different types of e-portfolio will require therefore different appraoches to the assessment:
Read again evaluation criteria and analyse them agains 4 e-portfolio types. IDo you think it is possible to match the elements directly?
Your aim is to create a professional development e-portfolio.

Most probably your initial drafts will reflect less complex goal, but as you work on it in time your e-portfolio can become your personal online coach. It will depend on the comments, reflections and feedback that you receive from the others - your friends, colelagues, other course participants, family.

Feedback is to give you clues, ideas, stimuli to reflect. It is information about where you are on your professional developmen path, hint and inspiration for furtehr development.
feedback is always subjective. This is the main difference between feedbakc and assessment. The latter is based on objectives, criterias, measures and indicators. In feedback you refer to your personal experience, observation, opinions, emotions. You use sentences with "I think", "In my opinion" to emphasise the perspective.

It is important to focus on only a few most important issues that can be valuable to the person you give feedback to. Abundance of information can be overwhealming and discuraging. Select 1-2 main points that can be improved. Begin and end your feedback with a distinctive positive remark. Describe what is good and important - positive feedback is an energiser that stimulates development. Aknowledge it.

It is easier to read the text because of this layout. Red attracts the viewers' attantion. It distracts me.
You are so nice and you have such a nice smile that it is difficult for the clients to concentrate on the subject when they talk to you.

I can see that you burs into a laud laugh when talking to a client. It can be distractive for them.

I don't like when my text is used without referencing.

It is useful to assume that the person giving feedback has positive intentions. He/she has no purpose in harming, humilitating or making anybody unhappy but giving support, help, appreciation and motivation.

Receive feedback as information. You don't have to agree with it but still you can draw conclusions and reflection upon it.

Don't defend yourself. Don't explain. Think over what you've heard, jot down your remarks, ask for clarification.

Be self-confident - your work is significant to you.

Rethink the information received. If you don't agree with parts of it try to work out why? You can identify your strong sides and assets.
